Rolling out quads and upper back on a slam ball. Every warmup in each of the 48 training sessions in my Russell Method Program begins with 4 minutes of soft tissue work, mainly to relax your mind and body a bit and get you n the right mindset for training.
The Russell Method is a transformative 16-week remote coaching program meticulously developed over five years to help men and women build muscle and lose fat, particularly as they get older, especially after recovering from injuries and surgeries. Designed to be accessible from the comfort of home or at the gym and requiring minimal equipment, this program is rooted in the principles of joint-friendly exercises, leveraging light weights and resistance bands to ensure safety and effectiveness.
At the core of The Russell Method are three weekly workout routines, each emphasizing isometric exercises and tempo training to maximize muscle tension while minimizing the weight or load required. This unique approach not only promotes muscle growth and fat loss but also protects and rehabilitates joints, making it especially beneficial for individuals post-surgery or those looking to prevent injury.
Beyond physical training, The Russell Method incorporates simple, healthy nutrition tips each week, providing a holistic approach to health and wellness. The program’s creator, leveraging personal experiences of overcoming physical challenges through four joint replacement surgeries, offers not just a training regimen but a journey towards sustainable fitness and well-being.
With the added benefits of weekly coaching calls, 24×7 messaging access for continuous support, and a step-by-step guide through carefully organized weekly folders, The Russell Method stands out as a comprehensive solution for anyone looking to improve their physical health, gain strength, and achieve a balanced lifestyle as they age.
